This residential development comprises eight standalone villas of approximately 680 m² each, organized within a 4,860 m² site in northern Jeddah. The rectangular plot, bounded by three roads and a neighboring parcel, is subdivided into equal lots constrained by tight setbacks and limited external views. These conditions informed an inward-focused design strategy that prioritizes privacy and internal spatial quality.
The villas are conceived as introverted compositions, where architecture and landscape are brought together to create self-contained living environments. Rather than opening outward, the design frames internal courtyards and terraces as the primary focal points of the spatial experience.
Each unit is articulated through a strong material contrast, with a wood-clad upper volume housing the bedroom suites resting on a robust stone base. The ground plane is sculpted to form a series of stepped terraces that connect different levels and introduce a courtyard-like garden at the heart of the villa. The void created between the elevated volume and the carved base is fully glazed, accommodating the main reception and dining areas and extending visually toward a linear lap pool. This layered composition enhances light, depth, and spatial continuity, resulting in a refined and private residential environment.
