Positioned within Dubai Creek Harbour, this project forms part of a broader vision to create a next-generation urban district that balances culture, environment, and contemporary living. Conceived as an integral component of the masterplan, the mosque extends beyond its primary function as a place of worship to operate as a civic anchor—supporting education, community interaction, and social cohesion within a rapidly evolving urban context.
Strategically located adjacent to the Dubai Creek Tower, the project is envisioned as a seamless extension of the tower’s plaza, reinforcing connectivity across the district while establishing a strong cultural presence at its core. The design responds to both its immediate surroundings and the wider landscape, creating a transitional interface between the built environment and the natural setting of the nearby Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary.
Architecturally, the mosque reinterprets traditional elements through a contemporary lens, integrating prayer spaces, shaded courtyards, and communal areas within a fluid, sculptural form. The structure operates as an elevated, amphitheater-like bridge—facilitating movement, gathering, and visual continuity across the site. This approach not only enhances accessibility and public engagement but also establishes a dialogue with the adjacent tower, complementing its architectural expression while reinforcing the project’s role as a unifying landmark within the development.
