CHALLENGE /
The Financial & Commercial Hub is the heart of Belema Atlantic Islands, a 'smart city' on Rivers State in the South of Nigeria. It breathes life into the island and projects it outwards throughout the whole of the city.

CONCEPT /
Five points with high watchtowers delimit the security perimeter that surrounds the island, two of which connecting it with the main lands through underwater tunnels. The main road on the island forms a perfect loop that visually connects with all five points on the security perimeter, enhancing security measures and facilitating surveillance.
Large water canals run to the side of the loop bringing water inwards and forming six independent zones. It also creates enjoyable walking promenade strips with lush greenery all along, acting as a buffer zone between the main road and all of the six zones giving each of them full privacy and controlled accessibility.
